Yes! The next St Barnabas Quiz is on Saturday 8th July. Please invite all your friends to put their thinking hats on and come along to this fun night. Make up a table together or why not meet some new people and join one on the night?

Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start.
Tickets £5 adults, £2.50 children and teenagers.

Bring your own food and drink.
We will also be running a raffle and tombola with prizes.

Come and celebrate 60 years of love, hope, peace and joy at St Barnabas, Grove Road e3 5TG.

St Barnabas was rededicated on June 18th 1957 after being bomed. Please come along and help us celebrate.

10.30am - Celebration mass with Guest preacher Professor Maxwell Hutchinson.

12pm to 1pm - Food, cake and fizz.

7pm to 10pm - Live music including traditional Irish music from Terence O'Flaherty and guests. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink.

Everyone is invited. If you are going to The Great Get Together Picnic in Victoria Park (from 1pm to 5pm) pop in on the way to the bandstand for some cake.

Join us for a Community Picnic linked in with the Hope not Hate/More in common – bringing communities together – Campaign in memory of the murdered MP Jo Cox.

The picnic is being held at the Bandstand in Victoria Park from 1pm.

Our celebration on the weekend of the 17th -18th June is the weekend following our Saints day on June 12th, and it will also be 60 years since St Barnabas was rededicated following the reordering of the Church after severe bomb damage during the second World War.

Save this date in your diary! Sunday 18 June, we are giving thanks at St Barnabas Bethnal Green as it is the 60th anniversary of its post-blitz reopening.

Professor Maxwell Hutchison is preaching in the moring at 10.30 during our family service, followed by fizz, food and cake.

Then there is the more in common/Greater together picnic in Victoria Park from 1pm, for those who wish to join.

Finally, we are having a FREE concert from 7pm to 10pm with Terence and his Irish music and a rockabilly band to finish off our celebrations.
