The Advent Carol Service at St Paul’s Cathedral will be held on Saturday 2nd December at 5.30 pm. This is one of the most dramatic services sung by the Cathedral Choir. A candlelit procession moves from darkness to light as words and music help us to focus on the Advent themes of light in darkness, hope in despair and a new relationship with God in Christ.

This year the Cathedral is once again inviting children from parishes to take part in the Procession of Light and there will be a rehearsal for this earlier in the afternoon for the children and supervising adults. We will be compiling a list of how many members of our congregation, and how many young people would like to take part, and will be liaising with the cathedral to obtain tickets.
